Get involved

Three simple ways to help advance inclusive housing: become a member, volunteer your skills, or make a gift.

Membership

Join or renew for $15 a year

Membership keeps our community strong and gives you a real voice in the inclusive housing we advocate for. Whether you bring professional expertise, lived experience, community connections, family experience, or simply a commitment to inclusion, your voice and participation matter.

DHBMS brings together self-advocates, families, professionals, community organizations, businesses, and community members who believe everyone deserves a place to call home.

Membership Benefits

  • A vote at the AGM and a say in our direction
  • Connection with other families and self-advocates
  • Discounted workshops and educational events
  • For adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities: access to the Housing Interest Registry, which you can also join free at any time
  • A membership card and our newsletter

Ready to join?

Fill in the membership form. Our board reviews each application, then emails you a welcome with a secure link to pay your $15 membership through Zeffy.

It takes a few minutes. The Housing Interest Registry and a donation are optional add-ons in the same form.

Already a member? Renewing uses the same short form: choose Renewal and we will send your payment link.
