If you are a person with an intellectual or developmental disability, or a family member supporting someone who is looking for future housing options in Delta, we invite you to join our Free Housing Interest Registry. It is free, it takes about five minutes, and you do not need to be a member.

Why join

What are the benefits of the Housing Interest Registry?

  • Your needs get counted

    What you tell us becomes part of the case we take to the City of Delta, Community Living BC (CLBC), and housing partners. Numbers move decisions, and right now nobody else is counting.

  • You hear about it first

    We keep registry members up to date on inclusive housing news in Delta, along with workshops and information sessions as they are arranged.

  • A person gets back to you

    A board member follows up the way you asked us to, and can point you toward the next practical step, whether that is CLBC, another family, or a resource you had not come across.

  • It costs nothing and commits you to nothing

    The registry is free and open to anyone, member or not. You can ask us to remove your details at any time, and you can leave any question blank.

  2. A board member reads it. Only the DHBMS board can see what you send.
  3. We get in touch the way you asked us to, by email, phone, or text.
  4. We use what you tell us to understand what kinds of homes are needed in Delta, and to advocate for housing choices that fit.

DHBMS does not build, own, or hand out housing. We are a community organization of families, self-advocates, professionals, and community partners that advocates for affordable and inclusive housing choices in Delta. Adding your name does not put you in a queue for a home, and it does not guarantee one. It tells us what Delta actually needs, which is what we take to decision makers.
