1. Delta City Council approves resolutions at the June 13th, 2022, regular meeting, including the Rental assistance Program Eligibility Criteria. Please see A Page 1 - Link: https://delta.civicweb.net/document/212238/
The next step, the resolution will go to the September 2022 Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) annual meeting. There will be a debate and recommendations as to how the provincial government might deal with the issue. If the resolution is endorsed, it will go to the provincial government for a response.
2. June 13th, 2022 The DCC Waiver Bylaw for non-profit affordable housing was passed. This will be an opportunity for new affordable housing.
